A night of celebration hosted at The Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg on May 2, 2023.
Doors opened at 6pm and buffet dinner was provided. Students from the three program schools gathered in the Great Hall to celebrate the year’s accomplishments. The awards ceremony began at 7:15 with all of the Journeys in Journalism schools giving out accolades to the magnet program students, SNN and Alpha Omega yearbook announced the 2023-2024 editor staff. The night’s festivities conclude with awarding the Cynda Mort and Peggy Peterman Scholarships.
